The Canadian Immigrant Fair is returning to Winnipeg

The Canadian Immigrant Fair is finally returning to Winnipeg; it is an extraordinary and educational event for all immigrants and newcomers in Winnipeg and across Canada. It was created to help immigrants look for job opportunities and for immigrants and newcomers to connect with employers, educational institutions, recruiters, and immigration service providers.

The event unites all Canadians as everyone comes to learn, teach, volunteer, or get advice. All Canadians will be united tomorrow at the Radisson Hotel in Downtown Winnipeg for the Canadian Immigrant Fair.

Many services will be offered at the fair, such as English language help, meaningful connections, career tips and coaching, inspirational immigrant speakers, and many other helpful and valuable opportunities for newcomers.

“The Canadian Immigrant Fair offers newcomers to Canada the chance to connect face to face with all areas of support on their settlement journey,” said Laura Jackman, an organizer of the Canadian Immigrant Fair, which takes place in various cities across Canada. “We strive to help newcomers from our three pillars of success: Careers, Education and Settlement. With that in mind, we bring hiring companies, recruiters, educational institutes, training centres and settlement services providers all together under one roof to help newcomers to Canada succeed on their journey in their newly adopted home country.”

The Canadian Immigrant Fair is an event that many Canadians love, and newcomers and settled immigrants alike wait for it excitedly. After asking a regular attendee of the Canadian Immigrant Fair, she said, “I’m so happy that the Immigrant Fair is going to be happening in Winnipeg, and as a regular attender and an immigrant, I’m very excited because I learn so many valuable things every time I go to this event.”

Jackman said when asked about the enthusiasm surrounding the event: “As one of the organizers of the Canadian Immigrant Fair, I am really passionate about the Canadian Immigrant Fair. With a long-standing success in both Toronto and Vancouver (over ten years running), helping to bring this fair to more cities and communities across Canada. It feels good knowing we can offer this free event for newcomers and hopefully help them on their journey.”

The Canadian Immigrant Event is at the Radisson Hotel, 288 Portage Avenue. It will be happening on July 8, 2022, from 10 am to 3 pm.
