Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg is Starting a New Community Campaign for Surgical Innovation

In Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Health Sciences Centre (HSC) is starting a new community campaign to raise more than a hundred million dollars for surgical innovation. The campaign aims to achieve ambitious goals for the Health Sciences Centre.

This campaign has started to achieve different goals, including establishing the Health Sciences Centre, as a destination for leading surgeons and various medical professionals, increasing the number of adequate systems, more excellent patient outcomes, and many other valuable initiatives.

Due to increasing medical challenges in the surgical world, the Health Sciences Centre is laying out a bold and extensive plan. This six-year plan is set to elevate health care services in Manitoba and is another step to continuing the set vision of HSC to deliver the best medical care to patients in the upcoming years.

The campaign is focused first and foremost on operation excellence, and the hundred million dollar plan will be used to “revitalize and refocus HSC as a surgical centre of excellence and innovation,” as written in a press release from the HSC Foundation. The plan is composed of three stages., with each stage improving the capacity for surgical and diagnostic cases. This will happen using the newest and most efficient imaging technology and equipment in order to set the hospital up for years to come.

“Each and every day, I see the impact of your donations at HSC. This is a time of great opportunity for health care in Manitoba. Please support Operation Excellence so that we can make sure HSC is on the leading edge of healthcare for years to come. Thank you for your support.” said Tina Jones O.M., Chair, Board of Directors Health Sciences Centre Foundation, after being asked about the new campaign.

Every Manitoban can donate to help this campaign succeed and support the plan of Operation Excellence, not only for better healthcare but for a more fantastic future. More information about donations and this campaign is provided on the Operation Excellence website: Here
