Why We Started This Campaign
Winnipeg is home to a mosaic of cultures, traditions, and languages, but
not every community has equal access to media representation.
U Multicultural was founded to change that. We provide free community
access to broadcasting, media education programs, and platforms for
local creators and cultural organizations to share their stories.
Your donation directly supports:
● Producing local radio and TV shows featuring community stories
● Offering youth and newcomer media training workshops
● Maintaining accessible broadcasting equipment and studio space
● Creating multilingual programming that reflects Manitoba’s
diversity
