Enjoy Local Food and Shopping at the St Boniface Summer Market

Every summer, Winnipeggers are invited to attend the St.Boniface Summer Market, also known as the farmer’s market. It is an event that happens during the three months of summer, from June 2nd to August 25th.

The St.Boniface Summer Market supports local vendors and helps them sell their goods to Winnippegers. The market has everything starting from vegetables to accessories to food. It has many things that can make all age groups enjoy going there. It is the best destination for a family trip because of the market’s diversity.

The St.Boniface Summer Market will have more than thirty Manitoban vendors who will participate by selling their goods throughout the summer. Moreover, the vendors will have many local and good-quality products from different parts of the province. For example, there will be products from Komera Inc, Norwood Florist, Chaps Peanut Butter, Sun Juice Co., Inspire D’Elykia, Taloua Garden, and others.

“I get excited every time I visit the Summer Market. I usually buy food and just walk around; it’s a pretty enjoyable space. I think it is a place where talking to other people is very easy and nice,” said a usual attendee of the St.Boniface Summer Market when asked about her opinion regarding St.Boniface Summer Market.

The market will have many products such as hot sauces, flowers and plants, artisanal peanut butter, homewares, clothes, beauty products, and almost anything you can think of. The best thing about this market is that it’s not just selling and buying, there are also little shows of people singing and dancing.

Kris Kuzdub, the owner of Kirsch Street Studio, a local artist, and a participant of the St.Boniface Summer Market, said, “I like going out and meeting people, showing my art, but the idea with this market is to see people coming around and speaking, music, movies, all that and activating the public space, which is super important, and I’m glad I can play a role in that.”

The St.Boniface Summer Market isn’t like any other market; in St.Boniface Summer Market, people talk with each other, share experiences and enjoy their hearts. A place that is filled with smiles, laughs, and joy.
